The Refugee Child
I am scared
Where are we going
It is so tight here
Where is my father
It is so dark here
I am hungry
I am thirsty
Who are all these strange people
I want to go home
Why is that man carrying a gun
Where is my doll
I want to go home
I am so scared

ReplyDeleteMahendra, I like this illustration which shows the frustration and utter dejection of the parents and the hopeful optimism of the child. How on earth can we ignore their peril? Let us do all we can to help. Thanks for initiating thoughts on this subject. You may have set off some good project in motion. Zita
